The Saint Michael’s Church, built in 15th century, is considered a remarkable example of Gothic architecture. At Museum de Fundatie, tourists and their travel companions will see the old pictures of the town, portraits of its notable residents and contemporary art works.
Zwolle’s historical landmark is the Saxon Gate built in 15th century.
There are a lot of cycling and segway guided tours. One can rent a bike at NS Bike Rental and tour the town on his own. Watersports that are offered for tourists include boat trips, sailing, kayaking and canoeing. Boat tours are offered at Rederij Keur. The Park de Wezenlanden is home to children’s playgrounds and barbecue facilities.
There are extant windmills on the outskirts of Zwolle where a museum complex has been established to represent how Dutch villagers lived in the 17th to 19th centuries.
Theatre plays can be seen at the Theater De Spiegel. If you like to play roulette, Jack’s Casino has it. Bowling games are offered at Bowling Urbana. At Great Escape, you can play an escape room game. When you want to unwind, visit City Spa Rituals.
Those travelling with children should visit Ecodrome, an interactive multimedia centre, which facilities include a terrarium and an aquarium. Kids will have a great time at Djambo Kidsplay.
Shopaholic travellers can have a wander round Winkelcentrum Zwolle-Zuid. Discover the Michelin 3-star restaurant De Librije located in the former library of an old abbey. Nightlife lovers shouldn’t miss the club De Bommel.
