Long Island is an island of coral origin and Long Island District in the Commonwealth of the Bahamas situated in the northern part of the Atlantic Ocean. Its total area is 596 square kilometres. The capital city is Clarence Town.

A rocky and shallow sandy coast of the resort is a good place for those who prefer calm holidays or for the extreme tourists. The rich underwater world and massive coral reefs attract the divers. The western coast of Long Island is ideal for quiet and relaxed holidays, swimming, snorkelling. Windward beaches are popular with the surfers and windsurfers.
