Panadura is a city situated in Kalutara District in Sri Lanka. The resort is 27 kilometres to the south of Colombo in the Indian Ocean.
If you prefer to spend your time on the beach, go to Panadura Beach. It offers excellent conditions for surfing. If you prefer other water activities, you should choose the Bolgoda Lake where you can ride catamaran, boat or go on a river safari. Many tourists come to the Lake to fish.
Those who prefer the excursion tourism can go on an excursion tour around the region. In Panadura, they will see the Temple Kalatura Caitya, Richmond Castle and a Buddhist Asokaramaya Temple.
The tourists with children should not miss a chance to go to Colombo Zoo, the oldest zoo in Asia and Viharamahadevi Park.
There are no large malls in Panadura but you can go shopping to Colombo.
