Zealand Island is the largest island in Denmark situated between the Baltic Sea and the Kattegat strait. The Great belt Bridge links it to the Funen Island, the Sturstrem Bridge and the fare Bridge link it to the Falster Island and the Oresund Bridge links it to the Scandinavian Peninsula.
There are many lakes on the Zealand Island and the largest is the Arrese Lake. The lakes are connected to each other by the canals and rivers. The longest river is the Suus-Aa River. Copenhagen, the capital city of Denmark, is in the east of the Island.
Zealand Island will find favor with the lovers of the excursion tourism who will see interesting sights in the city. For example, they will visit Ringsted Abbey, Frederiksberg Castle, Vallo Castle, Egelund Castle, Eriksholm and Ledreborg. In the local museums, you will learn more about the island.
The tourists will have a fun time in Tornado Attraction and Vild-Svinet Attraction. Don’t go past such amusement parks as Bon-Bon Land and Bakken Amusement Park.
