Queensland is a state in the northeast of the continental Australia. Its largest city and the capital is Brisbane.
The northern coast of the state is washed by the waters of the Gulf of Carpentaria and the Coral Sea, the eastern part is washed by the Pacific Ocean. In the south, Queensland borders New South Wales and in the west, it shares its borders with South Australia and the Northern Territory.
An infinite line of the cleanest beaches separated from each other by the lagoons attracts the lovers to relax on the beach. The best beaches are found to the north of Brisbane where the coast is separated from the ocean by the Great Barrier Reef. The surfers prefer the Sunshine Coast, where they can go on a sea cruise or play golf. The tourists can also visit Steve Irwin Zoo or go to one of the natural parks of Queensland.
