Pest is an eastern part of the Hungarian capital Budapest, situated on the plain. It occupies 2/3 of the territory of the city. Pest is separated from Buda by the Danube River.

Pest is the main destination for the excursion tourism because in this part, there are all the main sights of the capital. Excursion tours start with the visits to the building of Budapest Parliament.

The tourists will want to take a walk along the Andrassy Avenue, which is inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
