Trysil is a popular ski resort in Norway, which attracts thousands of tourists every year. The resort is built on the Tryusilfellet mountain which is 210 kilometres away from Oslo. There are 66 trails in total with the total length of 71 kilometres. The trails run not only in the mountains, but also through the woods. The trails will favour the tourists with different skiing skills.
The resort is divided into 4 zones. In Trysil Turistsenter, there is a snow park, express chairlifts and a family park with trails for kids. The second area is Skihytta and it is characterized by wide and hillocky terrain. Trysil Hoyfjellssenter is ideal for families. Hogegga is an area for early skiing and free riding. It has 4 trails and the national team trains here.
The tourists will love the fresh mountain air, favourable climate, picturesque nature and a top class service. The fans of snowboarding prefer to stay in the Trysil Terrain Park, which hosts weekly competitions.
In Trysil, there is a nursery and alpine skiing school for kids. Kids will be entertained by the animation staff.
Anyone can go dog sledding, visit Trysil-Knut Ski Museum and Experience Centre, a spa centre, cinema, cafes or restaurants, play bowling, swim in an indoor pool.
