Cetinje

Cetinje is a city on the south-east of Montenegro near the Mount Lovcen. It is situated 32 kilometres away from Podgorica and 30 kilometres away from Budva.

Despite its modest size in Cetinje, there are many interesting sights the tourists can visit and see. For example, anyone will visit King Nikola Palace, Cetinje Monastery, and Mausoleum of Metropolitan Daniel.

On the Mount Lovcen, there is the Observation Deck offering a stunning view over the city and its suburbs.

Learn more about the country and its history, visiting the National Museum of Montenegro, Cetinje Museum of Art, and Ethnographic Museum of Cetinje. Anyone can also go and see a performance at the theatre Zetski Dom.

The ecological tourists prefer to go to the suburbs of the resort and visit Lovcen National Park and Skadar Lake National Park.

The active tourists should not go past an Adventure Park Lovcen. They can also go skiing on Ivanova Korita Ski Resort.

Every year, Cetinje holds a Jazz Festival and Cetinje-Cioff International Folklore Festival.
