Grenoble is a city in the southeast of France. It is a centre of a historical region Dauphine and Isere Department. The resort is built on the shore of the Isere River at the intersection of Chartreuse Valley, Belledonne Valley and Vercors Valley surrounded by the Alps.

There are 20 winter sports resorts around Grenoble. The most popular of them are Autrans and Chamrousse. Not far from Grenoble, there is a large skiing resort Mont-de-Lans Glacier. So the tourists who come to Grenoble can go skiing at any time of the year.

Grenoble is an ideal place for the people who love walks in the mountains during which they can see the entire city and its suburbs.
